Privacy Policy
Under the new GDPR that came into force at the end of May 2018, we are required by law to document what personal information we keep for all clients, whether they be a one off appointment or regular clients.
What Information Do We Need?
We need your contact details, your: name, phone number, address, postcode and email address. We will also need information about your age and health in order for a treatment to go ahead. We may also ask to take photographs to monitor progress and share on social media. All clients have a client record card which records all the information above plus the treatment you are receiving and the date of that treatment. These record cards are kept in a cabinet to which only staff at Glow Tanning and Beauty have access. Client information is also held on our system, powered by Shedul, which is secure and GDPR compliant.
Why Do We Need It, How Will We Use It and How Long Will We Retain It?
We need all the details above in order to ensure that it is safe for us to provide the treatments you may ask for and also for insurance purposes. We will store your information for 7 years after the date of your treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you are/were under 18 when your treatment took place. You do not have to share your personal data with us, but if you do not we cannot offer you a treatment with Glow Tanning and Beauty.
